C&K East Street Kindy has been part of our local community and its history since 1967, both engaging and guiding young children to become independent and confident whilst playing and having fun. C&K East St Kindy is a community organisation caring for children 3½ to 5 years of age. Our Kindy is a not for profit service with all money returned to the Kindy and used to benefit the children, and the program.

We aim to provide a friendly, secure atmosphere in which children are valued and encouraged to develop independence, self-discipline and self-esteem. The early years of a child’s life are recognised as vital years in development, and positive experiences at Kindergarten will give children a head start for future learning. Many of our previous children return later as parents themselves wanting their own children to experience the same level of values and trusted care.

Our goal is to inspire in children a sense of curiosity about the world, promote a healthy self-esteem and a love of learning. We believe these skills will help children develop their unique capabilities and assist in the development of life skills that are necessary for a happy and productive life.
